Pro Trade +

Pro trade was a project that started out with an idea from a like minded client from Alberta. Pro Trade approach SciMedia to help them take a working protype and grow it into a comer4cial product they offer to their customers.

Our Collaboration with Pro Trade.

The client had a grant idea and a working prototype to boot! The challenge was that they needed a product that would scale with their projected growth. We worked with pro trade to develop a platform for them that would be scalable and keep up with the data crunching and calculations required to deliver service to their clients. We chose to develop their platform as a web app that would scale as demand and users grow on their platform. The project demanded high volume data processing to keep their users informed on the optimal time to buy or sell a stock based on the company’s proprietary algorithm. We chose to go with a Django, Postgres, Redis, and a Docker design deployed to a cloud platform. With our help, Pro Trade was able to take a prototype to a fully functional and scalable web app that is profitable by allowing users to sign up for a subscription.
